PBS is an evidence based approach to behaviours of concern which blends science with values. It is known to improve quality of life and reduce challenging behaviour.
All staff who are working with our TIPBIS approach would benefit from this training. It will be particularly beneficial to staff working with students being supported with tier 2 and tier 3 strategies i.e. those at risk of or already exhibiting chronic behaviours of concern.
It is prerequisite training for staff wishing to undertake our basic functional assessment course, and who have no prior knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support.
Participants will leave with a foundational level of understanding of what PBS is and how it can be used to understand and apply effective practical support children who have experienced ACE’s particularly those with learning disabilities/ ASD.
